On Blue Mesa Reservoir, our primary fishing boat is a 2007 20ft Northwest Jet Boat 198 Freedom O/B. Our Jet Boat has a 150 hp Honda outboard motor with a 9.9 hp Honda for slow Trolling. We’re equipped with state of the art Lowrance electronic GPS fish finders as well as cannon electric downriggers. Blue Mesa Fishing Guide is also equipped with a 68” live well on our boat with aerator an to keep your Fish alive and fresh. We only use the best rods and reels and tackle from such companies as Luhr Jensen and Rocky Mountain Tackle. Our fishing boat can seat 4 people very comfortably with the occasional 5th person finding enough space to reel ‘em in. The hull is a 3 piece, 5/16” welded aluminum design with extra high gunnels and enough walking room to fight fish around all areas of the deck. Our boat can with stand all the Weather Blue Mesa likes to throw at us including the snow, wind, hail, rain and occasional sunshine.
